Job Description
We are seeking a marketing intern to join our team at A&A Accounting. This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to refine your professional skills in marketing, with a specific focus on social media marketing, while collaborating closely with our partners and analysts.

As a marketing intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our firm's marketing efforts across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Executing social media marketing strategies to enhance our firm's online presence and engage with our target audience.
  • Assisting in website development and optimisation to ensure a seamless user experience and alignment with our brand identity.
  • Crafting compelling and relevant content for our website, social media channels, and other marketing materials.
  • Contributing to photography and videography projects to create visually appealing and impactful content.
  • Managing our firm's presence on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook, including content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis.

This internship offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to apply your marketing knowledge and creativity while gaining valuable experience. We offer flexibility in A&A, providing a part-time opportunity of approximately 10-15 hours per week, with the understanding that hours may vary based on project demands. While much of the work can be completed remotely, we'll have occasional in-person meetings.

Human Resources and Management Intern

Job Description
We are looking for an HR intern to join our team at A&A Accounting to support our recruitment and internal management processes. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the HR field while contributing to the growth of a dynamic accounting firm and working closely with our partners.
 
As an HR intern, you will represent A&A Accounting in recruitment efforts, maintaining a positive and professional image for potential candidates, and assist with managing internal feedback. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as the primary representative of A&A Accounting in the recruitment space, ensuring a good vibe and friendly image to potential candidates.
  • Screening and evaluating incoming applications, conducting preliminary phone interviews to assess suitability and arranging further interviews with our partners.
  • Delivering applicant feedback, including conducting rejection calls with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Preparing and sending employment contracts to successful candidates, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
  • Managing and responding to internal feedback, gathering complaints and feedback from the A&A team regarding business processes or team relationships and communicating these to our partners for resolution or improvement.

Accounting Intern

Job Description
We are looking for accounting interns for A&A Accounting to help with the daily accounting operations and growth of the business. This would be a good opportunity for you to learn accounting in the real world and get real work experience on your CV. 

This is a busy and exciting role in which you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for A&A Accounting's accounting work. Some general areas of work you will be involved in are: 
 
  • Preparation of a wide range of financial statements of varying complexity and industries
  • Independent analysis and contribution to the resolution of complex accounting issues that result in client satisfaction
  • Preparation of GST returns, annual returns, payroll etc.
  • Engage in in-depth accounting and legal research/documentation

As we are a start up accounting firm we offer a lot of flexibility. This means hours-wise we are looking around 10-15 hours a week, however some weeks may be more busy and vice versa. We will not put too much pressure on you, but as expected there will be deadlines. Everything can be done with your laptop remotely but we will occasionally have team catch ups in-person.

Software Developer Intern

As a software developer intern, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of our company portal project. Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Collaborating with our team of software developers to brainstorm ideas, solve technical challenges, and bring innovative features to life.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Assisting in the design and architecture of the company portal to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
  • Conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the reliability and quality of the final product.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Engaging in continuous learning and professional development to stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
